The Switch Backside 180 In, it's a bit of a mouthful but once you break it down you'll pick it up in no time.

Getting Started
- Switch Back Ones on flat,
- Switch Front Boardslides
- Switch Back 180.
Switch Back Ones on flat
Get comfortable with the rotation of your arms swinging backside as you pop, and follow through with your hips to complete the rotation. Pick a spot, or draw a line about a foot in front of you (where you'll place the Balance Bar when you have the rotation dialled) and rotate by initiating with your upper body and following through in the air with your hips and lower body. Repeat this motion until you're fully comfortable with the rotation and pushing forward into the rotation.

Switch Front Boardslides
This is the second step in the progression of the Switch Backside 180 In. Time to bring out your Balance Bar. Use that forward push and rotation you were practicing with Switch Back 1's on flat, to stall out Front Boards on the Balance Bar. Play with your aim on the Balance Bar, locking in Front Boards over your Front Foot and between your bindings.

Switch Back Ones
Okay, the final step stomp the Switch Back 1s! Approach the Switch Back 1 like a Front Board but turn your head and wind up a bit more for those extra 180 degrees. Use your hips and counter rotation to get those extra degrees and lock into the 50-50 landing.
Chase making it look easy
You've just locked in the Switch Back 1 In off snow, now take it to the hill and style out your new skill!
