Hiroto Ogiwara

X Games Gold Medalist

Hiroto Ogiwara is one of snowboarding’s brightest young stars, known for pushing progression since his first days on snow. Born in Japan in 2005, he quickly built a reputation for innovation, going viral at just nine years old. By 12 he turned professional, stacking results at the All Japan Championships and World Rookie Finals.

He’s made history with tricks like the world’s first BS Quad Cork 2160 at The Nines and a record-setting 2340 mute grab at his X Games debut, which secured Big Air gold in 2025. Even in the off-season, Hiroto trains with Snowboard Addiction’s Tramp Board and Jib Board, tools that help him sharpen spins, air awareness, and rail tricks before bringing them to snow.

"It's great to be able to practice jibs in the summer when you can't snowboard! The gear also fits really well, so you can practice in the same conditions as when you actually try it in winter."
