Life Story:

Mason is an Ontario native, who grew up spending almost every night that he can remember either on a baseball diamond or in the batting cages during the winter months. 

It wasn't until his second year of university where he was reintroduced to the sport of snowboarding after a near 7 year hiatus of being on snow. Upon graduating university, Mason traded in his glove and bat for a snowboard and boots, bought a plane ticket to Whistler, BC and never looked back.
