Complete Setup Guide for Your Jib or Tramp Training Board

How to Mount and Adjust Your Snowboard Addiction Training Bindings

This guide shows you how to mount and adjust Snowboard Addiction Training Bindings on either the Jib Board or Tramp Board.

While our training boards utilize a standard 4x4 snowboard insert pattern, meaning you can use your own snowboard bindings, this guide will walk you through how to mount &  adjust your Snowboard Addiction Training Bindings to our Jib or Tramp training boards.

🪛What You’ll Need:
  • Jib or Tramp Training Board
  • Snowboard Addiction Training Bindings
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flat surface or workspace

Step-By-Step Mounting Instructions:

Unpack Your Bindings

Bindings come with mounting screws and discs. Be careful not to lose the small toe tabs when unmounted.

Open the Trap Door

Press the black tab under the toe strap to pop open the trap door and access the mounting disc.

Set Your Binding Angles

Use the arrow on the disc to choose your stance angle.
Recommended stance:

  • Left foot: +12°
  • Right foot: -12°

Each notch = 3° increments. Use your preferred angles if you already ride with a custom stance.

Choose Your Stance Width

If you’re unsure, use the 20.5” reference stance printed on the board—great for average-sized adults.

  • Go wider if you’re taller
  • Narrower if you’re smaller
Mount The Bindings

Line up the disc with your chosen inserts. Start all 4 screws loosely to align everything, then tighten firmly by hand with a Phillips #3 screwdriver.

Close the Trap Door

Once mounted, snap the trap door closed and repeat for your other binding.

Adjusting the Binding Straps For Best Fit

To avoid movement or blisters, your foot should be snug inside the binding with the strap centred over your foot. Here’s how to dial it in:

  • Use the ratchet straps to tighten daily
  • Use the inner clip to centre your binding strap:
  • Small feet? Pull both toe and ankle straps in
  • Large feet? Extend them before locking down

The Addiction logo should pull evenly across the center of your foot for maximum comfort and control.

You’re Ready To Train 🏂

Your bindings are mounted, straps adjusted, and you’re ready to start training spins, presses, and grabs - right at home.
