Nose & Tail Spins Made Easy

Nose & Tail Spins Made Easy - Snowboard Addiction

Nose and tail spins are one of the most fun ways to add style to your buttering. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to spin frontside and backside on both the nose and the tail of your snowboard, and how to combine smooth edging with press positions for clean 360s and 720s.

We’ll cover:
• Building smooth 720s on the ground
• Transitioning into tail and nose presses
• How to alternate edges for each 180
• How to avoid catching an edge mid-spin
• How to keep your board sliding while spinning
• How to maintain pressure over the tail or nose
• Frontside and backside variations in both directions

Train these slowly at first, then increase speed as your edge changes become smoother. With practice, you’ll unlock stylish spins in all four directions.

Keep exploring.
