Welcome To The Team Hiroto - First To Land 2340 At X-Games
At just 19, Hiroto Ogiwara has already shaken up the snowboard world. Starting out in Ushiku, Japan, Hiroto strapped into his first board at age three, and by 12 he was competing as a pro. His natural style, creativity, and ability to keep calm under pressure quickly made him stand out.
In 2022, he turned heads at The Nines in Switzerland by stomping the first ever 2160. In January 2025, Hiroto went one step further, landing the world’s first 2340 at X Games Aspen. Even with a fractured forearm from practice, he put it down clean and walked away with gold. That combination of fearlessness and precision is what makes him one of the most exciting riders to watch right now.
What sets Hiroto apart isn’t just the tricks themselves, but how he approaches progression. He’s known for breaking big goals into smaller steps, refining every grab, rotation, and landing until it feels second nature. His mindset is analytical yet creative, always searching for the balance between pushing the limits and riding with style. That steady progression is why when the moment comes to make history, he’s ready.
Of course, tricks like this don’t just come from contest hype. Hiroto is constantly refining his aerial awareness, balance, and consistency both on and off snow. In the off-season, he turns to our Tramp Board and Jib Board to keep his skills sharp. Whether he’s working spins on the trampoline or practicing rail balance at home, the gear keeps him dialed until he’s back on snow. As he puts it:
“It’s great to be able to practice jibs in the summer when you can’t snowboard! The gear also fits really well, so you can practice in the same conditions as when you actually try it in winter.”
That approach, blending natural talent, relentless drive, and smart preparation, is a big part of why Hiroto is already pushing the sport into uncharted territory. And the most exciting thing? He’s only just getting started.
