Check Out Our New Logo & Contest Winner!

Posted by Andrew Narkewicz on

Our logo contest is wrapped up! We are so stoked with our new logo!

Old Logo

New Logo

The reason we wanted to change from our old logo; is that it looked out-dated, the Snowboard Addiction writing was a little hard to read, and most of all, we wanted to remove the negative connotations associated with the "needle" so that we correctly capture our addiction to snowboarding!

What do you think? Let us know on our Facebook page!

SO WHO IS OUR WINNER?

Our logo contest winner is GARY MEREDITH! Gary is a Freelance Graphic Designer from the UK, who is as addicted to snowboarding as we are, and a legend of a guy to work with!

(Gary's happy snap in some pow pow!)

We 110% recommend Gary. You can reach him at his Twitter account:

Our big, Bigger, BIGGEST thanks to everyone who entered the contest! We had hundreds of entrants, which made selecting a winning design really challenging!

Here are a couple of other great designs from our contest (please email us if you would like to get in touch with the designer):

- Louise Whitmore

- Mathieu Ballet

- Daniel Ebbrell

- Flavio Pellegrini

- Gary Fung

- Drew Finnie

- Katie Sipek

- Lance Smith

- Mike Clarke

- Michael Luckie

- Paul Gillam

- Stefan Joesler

- Karl Smith

- York Capistrano

- Vinc Interia

As you can see, it was not an easy process to select a winner! There were so many creative and intuitive designs!

From all of us at Snowboard Addiction, we are so appreciative of everyones amazing creativity, time and effort! We will be personally contacting each entrant over the next two weeks with a little thank you prize of a full year of free membership!

What are you hoping to stomp this year?
